Charla P. Stein of Binghamton NY passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Saturday, January 3rd 2026, at age 63. Originally from Greene NY, Charla (aka Nana to many who met her) was a lifelong fan of sports, especially her Bills, and an avid outdoor lover who enjoyed working with her hands around the house or hiking with her long time best friend. She was always willing to help those in need, and despite her tough, no nonsense attitude, was one of the kindest women you'd ever meet. She is survived by a number of siblings, nieces, and nephews, as well as her grandson.
At her request funeral services will be private. Charla will be interred in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. Prayers and well wishes for her family are appreciated. To forward condolences please visit www.demunn.com. Arrangements for the family are directed by the DeMunn Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
