Charleen “Char” T. Bossman (nee Bruens), who resided at Stonebridge Senior Living in Hermann, MO, originally of St. Charles, MO, passed away Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at the age of 95. Loving wife of the late Gerald P. Bossman; beloved daughter of the late Charles and Theckla Bruens; cherished aunt of Carol Kuschel (George) Strassner, Ronald (Bobbie) Kuschel, and Karen Toedtmann Schwartz; treasured great aunt of Mark Strassner, Matt (Holly) Strassner, Ryan (Meghan) Strassner, Kevin Kuschel, David (Stacey) Kuschel, Jason (Kim) Schwartz, and Erin (Nick) Darling; loving aunt of many nieces and nephews of the Bossman family. Char is also preceded in death by her sisters, Valoise Toedtmann, Lucille Kuschel, and Leola Bruens; her niece, Sandra Toedtmann, and great niece, Karrie Lynn Kuschel.

Char dedicated many years to the Missouri Highway Patrol as a driving examiner. She was a proud member of the VFW Auxiliary and the Military Order of the Cooties. Her love for her country was evident in her deep honor of participating in the wreath-laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. She also had the incredible experience of carrying the Olympic torch through St. Louis. In her free time, Char enjoyed camping, traveling, and watching the Indianapolis 500, but above all, she cherished spending time with her family. Char was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Memorials may be made in Char's name to the Alzheimer's Association.
