Charlene is survived by her husband, Quinn Bartee of Lovelady; daughter, Nada Sample of Elkhart; sons, Clark Maden and wife, Gwen of Louisiana, Carl James Gormey and wife, Luxey of Oyster Creek; several loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, JoAnn Friudenberg and husband, Fred of Lake Jackson; brothers, Wayne Huntsman of Lovelady, Victor Huntsman and wife, Bea of Katy; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by sons, Mark, Paul, Joe and John; great-grandson, Kevin; parents, Burlin and Artie Huntsman; sisters, Jane Garrett, Doris Driskell, Martha Huntsman.
Funeral services for Charlene Bartee will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, January 18, 2024 at the Callaway-Allee Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow in the Creek Cemetery.
Visitation will be from Wednesday evening from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Callaway-Allee Funeral Home.
