Charlene Cox Davis, 69, of Clarksburg passed away on Sunday, September 14, 2025 at her residence.

She was born in Clarksburg on April 13, 1956, a daughter of the late Edgar J. Cox and Anna Mae Smith.

Surviving are one son, James Fuller of Clarksburg; one daughter, Louise Johnson of Clarksburg; six grandchildren, D'Mitri Savoy, Ceasar Johnson, Malcom Johnson, Anniyah Hughes, Bethany Tompkins and Braxton Fuller; 10 great grandchildren, Chandler, Cameron, D'Mitri, Mila, Dominick, Genevieve, Sophie, Clark, Calvin and Parker; five sisters, Edith Booker, Karen Fritz, Donna Jean Cox, Gloria (William) Turner and Sandra (Derick) Cox; and several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Tracy Cox; three sisters, Particia Walker, Jane Evans and Janice Cox;, and two brothers, Daniel Cox and James Cox.

Charlene enjoyed going to church and took care of many people in her life. She loved her family and was a wonderful mother.

In keeping with her wishes, Charlene will be cremated. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2025 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison St, Nutter Fort.
