Charlene F. (Roseman) Emenheiser, formerly of Felton, went to her eternal home after a brief stay at Inner's Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation on Friday, August 23, 2024 at the age of 76. She was the wife of the late Gregory E. Emenheiser, who died on August 26, 2012.
Born on May 20, 1948, in Winterstown, Charlene was the daughter of the late Guy B. and Miriam L. (Anderson) Roseman. In her early years, Charlene worked in accounting and payroll, but after becoming a mother, she chose to devote her life to caring for her children. Charlene found joy in creating handmade cards, which she lovingly sent to friends and family during the holidays. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life, reflected in her involvement in her church choir and her beautiful piano playing for the congregation. Above all, Charlene treasured the moments spent with her loved ones, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, love, and devotion. She was a member of Winterstown United Methodist Church
Charlene leaves her son, Brian D. Emenheiser and wife, Kelly of Red and Lion; her daughter, Holly A. Taylor of Felton; her grandchildren, Ashley Emenheiser and Megan Emenheiser, both of Red Lion, Ryan Taylor and Cameron Taylor, both of York; her sister, Faye Kinard and husband, Monte of Winterstown; as well as her cat, Bootsie. She was preceded in death by her step-brother, Glenn R. Roseman.
A viewing for Charlene will take place on Friday, August 30, 2024 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at Winterstown United Methodist Church, 12184 Winterstown Road, Felton, PA 17322. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 am with her pastor, Rev. Becky McGee, officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
