Charlene Waller

Charlene Waller died at the age of 78 in New Boston, Texas, on June 26, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Charlene was proceeded in death by her father RJ Cowley, Mother Ima Catherine Cowley and three siblings. Two sisters, Linda, Firth and Patsy Obenoskey and one brother Tommy Cowley and one daughter Sheila Ann Waller.
Survivors included three siblings, two brothers Bradley Cowley of Texarkana, Michael Cowley of Emery, Texas, and one sister Glenda Tidwell of Clarksville, Texas, and one son Luther David Waller III with wife, Amy Waller of New Boston, Texas, and two daughters Evelyn Hunter of New Boston, Texas and Charlotte Sloan of New Boston, Texas alongside 13 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews family and friends.
She graduated from Maud High School in Maud, Texas and married Luther David Waller Jr. on June 1, 1967.
Charlene Waller loved to spend time with family and friends. She always spent her time in the kitchen and had a passion for drawing. She was a loving mother, Mother-in-law, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loved going to church and would do anything she could to help others in need. Overall, she was a wonderful person and one of the sweetest souls anyone could have ever met.
Visitation at Bates-Rolf Funeral Home 1 PM to 2 PM. Funeral services will follow from 2 PM to 3 PM at Bates-Rolf Funeral Home in New Boston, Texas off of Highway Eight. The burial services will be at Center Ridge Cemetery in Maud Texas with no graveside services.
