Charlene Ruth Marshall Wenzel
July 27, 1946 – December 17, 2025
Charlene Ruth Marshall Wenzel passed away peacefully on December 17, 2025, leaving behind a beautiful legacy of love, creativity, and devotion to her family.
She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Ruth May Jubenville Marshall and Thomas Charles Marshall, and by her husband of 40 years, John Jacob Wenzel, whom she loved deeply.
Charlene is survived by her daughters, Deb (Ken) Tandy and Dawn (Scott) Gloss; and her cherished grandchildren, Isabella Tandy, Jenson Tandy, Brittany Gloss, and Caden Gloss—each of whom brought her immense joy and pride.
Charlene embraced life’s simple pleasures. She loved spending time at the family cottage, enjoyed bowling, karaoke, dancing and had a special gift for arts and crafts. She delighted in traveling, sharing laughter with friends, and creating lasting memories with those she loved. Her warmth, kindness, and gentle spirit will be remembered by all who knew her.
We take comfort in imagining her beloved John arriving—just as he always did—in his white MG, ready to whisk her away into eternity together.
A memorial service is planned for Saturday, January 17, 2026. Details will be shared soon.
