Robert proudly served his country in the United States Army, embodying the values of duty and honor throughout his life.

Robert's character was defined by his humor, charm, intelligence, and deep faith. He was a stern yet loving figure, well-read and wise, and his generosity knew no bounds. He was cherished as a favorite uncle and adored his grandchildren, who brought immense joy to his life.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert (Sr.) and Greta Van Noord, his brother-in-law, Lloyd Osterink, and his sister-in-law, Kristie Van Noord.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 53 years, Laura Van Noord; his sons, Craig (Raelene) Van Noord and Mark (Jamie) Van Noord; and his five beloved grandchildren, Reid, Cole, Farrah, Brooke, and Willow.
