Charles Lester Alexander, age 89, passed away peacefully in West Palm Beach, Florida on May 28, 2025.
Born on June 25, 1935 in Wann, Oklahoma, to Mark Alexander and Elvie Alexander, Charles lived a completely full life.
He was a storyteller from the beginning and until the very end. He'd tell of building businesses from the ground up, serving the country in the Army, acting as sheriff of his county, driving combines, writing songs and poems, and being committed to his faith fully and whole-heartedly.
But from all of his accomplishments in life, his faith and his family became what he was most proud of.
Charles married Marylin (Hayes) Alexander on September 30, 1960. From there, they went on to build a huge family. He is held dear by his brother Donald "Brub" Alexander. He is loved and missed by his children Anita Walker and husband Micah Walker, Michael Alexander and wife Jade Alexander, and Jeremy Alexander and wife Lorie Alexander. He will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Brittany Perry and husband Kris Perry, Chelsea Timmons and husband Janson Timmons, Colton Alexander and wife Avalon Alexander, Michaela Bryan and husband Van Bryan, Tiffany Ambrose and husband Nickolas Ambrose, Skylar Alexander, Zoe Walker, Jasmine Alexander, Blade Alexander, Jesse Alexander, Shane Alexander, and Ace Alexander. He got the honor to know his three great-grandchildren Charlotte Alexander, Jameson Gertz, and Giselle Gertz. And he was able to celebrate the news of a new granddaughter on the way, Shadow Alexander.
All of whom he is survived by.
Let us remember his past with gratitude and love, live the present with enthusiasm for his family, and look forward to the future filled with his mark on the world. And as he would always say, "Love ye."
A memorial service in his honor will be held on July 12, 2025, time TBD. We invite all who knew him to please join us in celebrating such a long and beautiful life.
