Charles Milton Allen, 91 of Massillon passed away on May 3, 2011. He was born on May 10, 1919 to the late Homer Allen and Daisy (Wurster) Allen in Mendon, Ohio. Charles Married Verna L. Croft on June 27, 1943. Mr. Allen was a resident of Stark County since 1940. He worked as an Insurance Agent for Prudential for 33 years. He was also minister for the Church of God-Great Lakes Conference of Findlay, OH. He was also a member of the VFW # 5047 of Navarre He is survived by a daughter, Naomi(Kim) Harpel of North Canton, a son, David (Kathi) of Massillon, His grandchildren Jennifer(Val) Martin, Suzanne(Keith) Currier, Joseph (Nanette) Allen, Monica Borotkanics, and Scott Harpel, 6 great-grandchildren, Tyler Martin, Zoe & Eva Allen, Dylan Borotkanics, and Wyatt & Olivia Mott. One Brother, Hubert Allen of Celina OH. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Verna, 3 brothers Clayton Allen, Henry “Jerry” Allen and Stanley Allen. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00A.M at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home on Friday, May 6, 2011. Pastor David Green officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00A.M until the time of service. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Churches of God -The Great Lakes Conference P.O. Box 1132, Findlay OH 45839 . The family would like to extend a special thank you to Candy Shanklin of Personal Choice Care Home Health, Dr. Edmund Wymyslo, Dr. Michael Van Ness, and all the nurses who cared for Charles for the past 23 years.
