Charles Allen "C A" Ritchie, Sr. 91, of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord on November 7, 2021.
He was born June 16, 1930, in Noxapater, Mississippi, to B. B. and Mary Evans Ritchie.
He received his education in Mobile, Alabama and Mississippi.
He served in the United States Marine Corps.
He was a Master Mason and member of Grand Lodge #202 of Moss Point Mississippi.
He retired from International Paper as a pipe fitter.
He had been a member of Wesley United Methodist Church and currently was attending Salem Missionary Baptist Church for the past several years.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Mae Bartmess Ritchie, whom he married in 1951 in Pascagoula, Mississippi; a son, Charles Allen Ritchie, Jr.; his parents; brothers, Edwin Ritchie, Howard Ritchie, Thatus Ritchie and a sister, Naomi Edmounds.
Survivors include his daughters, Jan Ritchie Lemons of White Hall, Kim Denise Ritchie of White Hall; grandchildren, Wayne Allen Ritchie (Jennie) of Jacksonville, Brandunn Glynn Ritchie of Carlton, Texas, Nakia Renee Ritchie of Bauxite, Charles Blake Bailey (Amanda) of Sheridan; great-grandchildren, Abby Mae Bailey, Connor David Watkins, Tanner Blake Bailey, Parker Glynn Bailey; sister-in-law, Betty Ritchie; brother-in-law, Hubert Edmounds; several nieces and nephews and a very special caretaker, Katie Rushing.
Visitation will be Saturday, November 13, 2021, 1 to 2 p.m. at Robinson & Fuller White Hall Chapel.
Funeral service will be Saturday, November 13, 2021, 2:00 p.m. at Robinson & Fuller White Hall Chapel with Reverend Howard Loetscher officiating.
Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery.
