Charles Edward Arnold

Charles Edward Arnold, age 88 of Mount Dora, Florida lost his battle with Alzheimer's on Sunday, August 24, 2025, with his wife of 65 and a half years by his side. Charles was born on December 25, 1936, in Cadiz, Ohio. The majority of his early years were spent working on the family farm until the age of 26 when he changed career direction and worked 37 years at AEP Power Plant in Conesville, Ohio. In addition, Charles was a Past Master of the West Lafayette Masonic Lodge and a lifelong member of the Coshocton, Ohio, Elks. Charles is survived by his loving wife Jeannette Arnold, daughter Peggy (Fred) Shurtz, son Greg (Judy) Arnold, grandchildren Austin (Alexis) Shurtz, Jon (Kathleen) Shurtz, Savannah Arnold, Logan Arnold, and 5 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2025, 10:30 AM at the Waterman Village Chapel. Friends are invited to join the Arnold family for a luncheon at Lakeside. Burial will take place at a later date in West Lafayette, Ohio, at Fairfield Cemetery.
