Charles Kenneth Ashbaugh born March 29, 1943 in Oklahoma City, OK.
His father was Norman Ray Ashbaugh and mother, Eva Louise Huncker. After a few years in Oklahoma the family moved to Emporia, KS. Charles graduated from Roosevelt High School (Class of 1961) and moved to New Raymer, CO. He had various jobs and helped with the family farm in New Raymer, CO, until he went into the Air Force during the Vietnam war.
Upon his return he lived in the Greeley, CO area. Charles was a volunteer firefighter. After many years Mountain Bell Telephone Co and its successors, he retired. He and his wife, Dorothy Orback enjoyed travel and exploring estate sales for "treasures". They also enjoyed learning to oil paint and playing BINGO at the VFW.
Charles is survived by his oldest brother, Raymond Evan Ashbaugh and his youngest sister Barbara Jean Ashbaugh, as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Sharon Ann Lightner. He was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy (2'24-21). He is survived by his stepson, Mike Orback and wife Jan; their children Clayton and Amber
He will be greatly missed by all.
