Charles Bassett Obituary
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Calvary Mortuary Chapel under the direction of Calvary Mortuary staff.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Anthony Bassett, and Ernestine Lovie Thomas, and niece, Linda Vaults.
Charles's love and memories will remain in the hearts of his son, Charles E. Bassett, Jr.; daughters, Bonnie Marvin, and Dion Goodwin; sisters, Lovie Bassett, Mary Bassett-Fowler (Harold), Joyce Franklin, and Toni Lovely; brothers, Melvin Bassett (Andrea), Larry Bassett, Ronald Bassett (Tammy), and Darryl Bassett; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
