Charles “Chuck” Beverly

Charles “Chuck” Beverly (93) of Plano, IL, went to be with his Lord and Savior on September 6th of 2024. Chuck was born on February 21st of 1931 in Drift, Kentucky to the late Tilden and Vina Beverly. He was a faithful servant to his parents and siblings, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.
Chuck worked as a lift operator at AllSteel in Aurora, IL for many years. Chuck was a member of First Baptist Church of Plano, IL and embodied the fruit of the spirit in his love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23).
He was preceded in death by his parents, Tilden and Vina Beverly, Donna, his wife of 58 years, his daughter Sharon, his brothers Herman, Claude, and Fred, and his brother-in-law Cliff (Helene) Porter.
Chuck is survived by his sister Helene (Cliff) Porter, daughters Carol (Mark) Robinson and Sandy (Keith) Crist, son-in-law Doug (Joy) Varney, grandchildren Sara (Keven) Martinez, DJ (Rachel) Varney, Stephanie (Nick) Price, Jillian Crist, and great granddaughters Reagan Price and Charlotte “Charlie” Varney.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 17, 2024 from 12:00 – 1:30 A.M. at Beverage Family Funeral Home, 104 Terry St. Sandwich, IL 60548 in Sandwich, IL with pastor Tim Balts officiating. A short service will follow at Little Rock Township Cemetery in Plano, IL.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ronald McDonald House Charities at 211 East Grand, Chicago, IL 60611.
