Charles Blake Harrison, 37, of Grove Hill, went to be with his Lord and Savior on January 30, 2025. Blake was born on June 19, 1987, to his parents, Timothy and Cindy Harrison. Blake was employed with International Paper as a Shift Electrician. He played football for Jackson Academy as a young man and the love of football carried on throughout his life. Blake was saved at a young age. He was devoted to his family. He loved hunting and fishing to which he would be very competitive with his dad. Blake enjoyed the annual syrup making at the camp house. He was known to most for having a big heart and praying sweet prayers. He will be sadly missed by family and friends. "Rest in Peace Our Baby Boy."
Preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles and Evie Burge; his great grandparents, Marvin and Ethel Brunson and Horrie and Tommie Lee Harrison.
He is survived by his parents, Timothy and Cindy Harrison; his grandparents, Billy and Bonnie Harrison; his uncles, Butch (Chanda) Burge, Wayne (Lisa) Harrison, and Charles (Patsy) Burge; and his aunt Betty (Gail) Thompson and Ginger Harrison.
Pallbearers will be Britt Wilson, Ronnie Smith, Tyler Stevens, Doug Pugh, Chase Robinson, Neil Bush, Michael Loftin, Derrick Rotten, Ross Henderson and Travis Overstreet. Honorary Pallbearers will be Blake's co-workers at International Paper Mill.
Funeral services will be held at Forest Ave Baptist Church in Jackson on February 3, 2025, at 2 p.m. with a visitation an hour prior. Bro. Carey Howard and Bro. Jerry Peebles will be officiating the service with Lathan Funeral Home directing.
