Mr. Charles "Chuck" Darvin Blanton, 70, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Tuesday, January 23, 2024 with his wife by his side. A celebration of his life will be held at Trinity Baptist Church, Saturday, January 27, 2024 at 12:00 PM. A committal service with military honors will immediately follow at Magnolia Park Cemetery with Pastor Matt Olsen officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully request donations be made in loving memory of Mr. Blanton to, .
Chuck was born in Baxley, Georgia to Mrs. Faye Kimmons Blanton Daniel and the late Charlie Blanton. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his stepbrother, Dan Daniel and beloved grandmother, Lennie Kimmons.
Chuck devoted his life to serving others. He joined the United States Army at a young age serving honorably for over twenty four years. After the military, Chuck continued to serve his community in Law enforcement for several years before his second retirement. After retiring he continued traveling the world with his wife of forty nine years, family, and making life long friends throughout many countries. Chuck was a proud patriot who was a member of the American Legion Post 172, Warner Robins, GA and the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 6605, Warner Robins, GA. Chuck was also an avid member of Trinity Baptist Church where he faithfully served his Lord. He enjoyed spending time with his friends, animals, and most importantly, his family. Chuck was a loving son, husband, father, brother, and dear friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Chuck is survived by his cherished wife, Pat Blanton; mother, Faye Daniel; daughter, Anida K. Blanton; sister, Kathey Blanton (Powell); brother, Kim Nathan Cook; and a host of extended friends and family.

It was a blessing to grow up with Darvin and his family. Many adventures and fond memories. The most treasured memory was when he accepted Jesus as his Savior.

Our hearts are so heavy with sadness to have lost one of the dearest & absolute best friends we have ever had. We are so thankful for having known Chuck and to have had him in our lives; what a blessing he was to us. Our condolences go out to you, Pat & Anida, and to Chuck's other family members. We are praying for God to comfort you all in a way that only He can.
