Charles Bly Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Smith Family Funeral & Crematory Services, LLC - Murfreesboro on Jan. 13, 2026.
Charles "Seven" Ellis Bly, born December 27, 1995, passed away on January 10, 2026, at the age of 30 in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. He has entered into eternal rest, going home to be with his Lord and Savior.
Seven is survived by his devoted wife, Nadia Bly; his beloved children, stepdaughter Cadence (9), Sage (9), Presley (3), and Stella (3); his father, Jerry Bly; his stepmother-made mother, Kim Bly; his brothers, Timmy (Maggie) Snoddy, Michael Shane Presley and family, Michael Vest, Logan (Kelly) White, Zak (Whitney) Michon, and Jordan Baucom; his nieces Baylie (6) and Charlie (2) Baucom; and his aunts, Cyndi Jackson, Judy Bly, and Kathy Massey.
He is also survived by his chosen family, his car club, Rural Legends, founded by Kenny and Jennifer del Villar. They welcomed Seven with open arms, embracing both him and his love of cars during a time when acceptance meant everything to him. Being part of Rural Legends brought him great joy and a true sense of belonging.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Connie Darlene Bly; his grandmother, Patricia Elaine Jackson; and his uncle, Joey Jackson, who left an everlasting mark on Seven's life.
Seven had a deep love for video games and the life God gave him. He was known for his bold personality, his genuine interest in people, and his ability to make others feel seen and heard.
Those who knew him consistently spoke of his character, compassion, and the lasting impact he had on everyone around him. Seven fought a long and courageous battle with cancer, persevering with strength, dignity, and faith until the very end.
As Scripture declares, "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." - 2 Timothy 4:7
Though we grieve his passing, we do not grieve without hope. We rejoice in knowing that Seven's pain has ended, his victory is complete, and he now rests in the peace and presence of God. His life and legacy will continue to shine through his children, his family, his friends, and all who were blessed to know him.
At this time, no services have been announced.
