Rev. Charles Dwight Bohanon

Rev. Charles D. Bohanon, age 76, of Lancing went home to be with the Lord Friday January 9, 2015. His love for Christ lead him to be a Freewill Baptist Minister for over 40 years. He was a loving husband to his wife Leila for 58 years, Loving father to 8 children, 19 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughters, Marsha Lee, Mary Catherine He is survived by his wife Leila Ellen Gallagher Bohanon, Daughters, Deborah (Rev. Henry) Miracle, Cynthia (Jon) Hankins, Kimberly Ellen (Gary) Crozier, Susan (John) Keathley, Sons, Dwight (Michelle) Bohanon, Charles Ricky 1 sister and 1 brother. Also surviving are a host of other family and friends. The family will receive friends Monday, January 12, 2015 at Schubert Funeral Home, Wartburg from 3-7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Tuesday, January 13, 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Henry Mircale, Rev. Joshua Crozier and Rev. Rick Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Hope Cemetery Deer Lodge.
