Charles Edward Casey was born on January 14, 1946 in Dexter, Missouri to the late William Linus Casey and Ella Arbella Masterson Casey, and passed away on July 13, 2025 in Dexter, Missouri at the age of 79
.On, June 18, 1965, Charles Edward Casey and Mary Alice Frank were married in Dexter, Missouri and he is survived by his loving wife.
Charles lived in the Dexter area his whole life, and enjoyed tinkering on cars, and watching westerns and old movies, and playing video games with his children.
Charles is survived by his loving wife Mary Alice, of Dexter, Missouri, his children, Travis and wife Sandra Casey, of Dexter, Missouri, Garrett Casey, of Dexter, Missouri, Angela Ray and Amy and husband Andy Love, both of Rogersville, Missouri, 9 grandchildren, Gatlin, Emily, Brianna, Monica, Nicholas, Hailee, Janna, Elizabeth and Lea, and his siblings, David Casey, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Clara Green, of Puxico, Missouri, Mary Lou Miller, of Dexter, Missouri, and Janice Henderson, of Brownsville, Texas, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents, and an infant son, Scott Edward Casey, and 2 brothers, Ray and William “Bill” Casey.
A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, from 6- 7 P.M. at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, beginning at 10 A.M. at the Hagy Cemetery in Dexter, Missouri.
In lieu of flowers, the family is accepting donations to be applied to the funeral bill.
Watkins and Sons is handling all arrangements.
