Charles Edward Martin, II, 44, of Smithville, GA passed away Saturday, November 21, 2025. Memorial services will be conducted Saturday, November 29, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. at Smithville Methodist Church.
Born in Albany, GA, Charlie lived in Smithville, GA and before his illness he remolded houses and painted. He loved and enjoyed spending time with his family. Jesus Christ was his Lord and personal Savior.
Survivors include his wife, Janet Mullis Martin, Smithville, GA, children, Dylan Mullis, Fairview, Montana, Charles Edward Martin, III and daughter-in-law, Hope Byrd, Shannon Michell Martin, Brannon Martin, parents, Charles Edward Martin, Sr. and Kelly Hillard Martin all of Smithville, GA, brother, Wendell Scott Martin, McCrae, siblings, Wendell Scott Martin, Joyce Daniels (Junior) and Amy Selph (Wayne) all of McRae, GA and Kathy Keefer (Howard), Mt. Home, Idaho.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 11:00 am until the funeral hour at Smithville Methodist Church.
