Charles “Chuck” E. Musick, 82, of Harveyville, passed peacefully surrounded by family members on April 16, 2025.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Halberg. He is the son of Robert Musick and Maude Dagg. He is survived by his significant other, Pam Lynn; his children, Pamela Bafaro, Douglas Musick, Darin (Elaine) Musick, and Dason Musick; grandchildren Joshua, Jakob, Marlena, Tava, Dalen, Devin, John, Luke and Caiden; and great-grandchildren, Westley, Bennett, and Wendall. He is also survived by his sisters, Adell Sage, Ethel Neeland, Addie Gay Cole, Milda Sage, and Kimberly Seastrom.
He served on many boards and organizations including USD 330 school board, Plumb Township, Wabaunsee County Conservation District, Wabaunsee County Fair Board and the Masonic Lodge of Dover. He enjoyed showing and raising sheep, socializing and watching kid’s and grandkid’s events, and traveling. He worked at Drywall Construction for many years and at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of KS, where he retired.
A memorial graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at the Harveyville Cemetery in Harveyville, KS. A reception will be held at the family farm immediately following the graveside service and all are invited to attend. Please do not bring food or drink since the family will be providing ample food and drink at the reception.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Friendly Farmers 4-H Club of Eskridge KS and may be sent in care of Piper Funeral Home, 714 Maple St., St. Marys, KS 66536.
