Charles A. 'Chuck' O'Connor, 69, of Bowling Green passed away on September 14, 2022 at Hospice of Southern Kentucky.
The Santa Rosa, California native was born July 27, 1953 to the late Clair Addison and Rosemary O'Connor. He is also preceded in death by sisters, Pat, Jan, and Fritzie. The United States Army veteran served as a Medic in Vietnam. Chuck was a member of Living Hope Baptist Church where he participated in the Easter play for many years. He was a talkative man who made himself known from Korea to Kentucky and never met a stranger and was always willing to share the Gospel.
Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Laurel Ann Epley O'Connor; children, Rosemarie O'Connor of Bowling Green, Jenniffer O'Connor of Bowling Green, and Christian O'Connor of Blountville, TN; sister, Carol Foti; brother, Michael O'Connor; and several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at The Chapel at Living Hope Baptist Church with visitation from 2 until 6 p.m. Sunday at the J.C. Kirby & Son Broadway Chapel and from 9 a.m. until service time Monday at the Church. Burial will take place in Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Russellville at 2 p.m. Monday.
*** The Committal Service will take place at 2 p.m. Monday at Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, 5720 Morgantown Road, Russellville, Kentucky.
