Charles Edward Cooper Jr "Eddie", of Knoxville, TN, passed away on February 15th, 2025. Eddie was born on October 11th, 1952, to Charlie and Dot Cooper. He retired from Dollywood after 18 years of dedicated work. He went on to work with the family company Sherrod Electric Services. Eddie took part in Passion Play of the Smokies and was the soundman for Rabbit Creek & Stranger. Eddie had the honor of being Uncle Blah Blah and the foster dad to Ricky, Ally and Brittany. Eddie was also interested in golfing, going to Destin, Florida, participating in family outings and going to Cades Cove.
Eddie was preceded in death by his fiance, Janie Frances Shupe; father, Charles E. Cooper Sr (Charlie); mother, Dorothy Jane Cooper (Dot); and grandparents, Wesley & Bessie Cooper and Odell & Annie Carver.
He is survived by his daughters, Stephanie Cooper Almond (Matthew) and Elizabeth Cooper (Woody Reynolds); brother, Darrell E. Cooper (Pam); sister, Linda Sherrod (David); grandson, Darrell E. Wood (Tre); granddaughter, Taytum Almond; niece, Brittany Bledsoe (Steven); nephew, Zachary Sherrod; Great niece, Adleigh Brae Bledsoe (lovingly known as Blah Blah); great nephew, Cameron Wade Bledsoe; and special friends, Sharon Lovingood and Bob Truxall.

A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. Please direct contributions and flowers to his children or family.
Ed was the happiest with his loving fiance, Janie Shupe. In his own words, "I am hopelessly in love with her. Please keep us together in eternity." Well, the Lord answered that request when he took them together on Saturday, February 15th of 2025.
