Charles Edward Cooper passed away on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, in Springfield, Missouri.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00am on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at Mt Hope Cemetery. The family will greet friends on Monday, March 23, 2026, from 5:00-7:00 pm at Webb & Rodrick Chapel and Crematory.
Charles was born on December 2, 1982, in Parsons, Kansas to Richard Wayne Cooper and Terri Jane (Kooble) Sprenkle. Charles married Dorothea Lynne (Scovill) Cooper; their children are Haley, Mathew, Angelia, Alexandria, Jared, Cole, Marc’Quavion; two stepchildren Jasmine and Dominic. Charles has one sister, Sarah Cooper, and one brother Thomas Cooper.
Charles was a very loving ambitious man; who’s greatest achievement he always said was his children. He enjoyed playing games on his PS5 and Meta Quest with his friend Shater and his family. He also enjoyed horror and scary movie night with his family. Charles’s favorite place was at home with his family spending moments with his wife singing and dancing to songs in the living room together.
Charles worked for Fed Ex and loved his job. He was proud of himself for getting his GED. Charles also worked for Cobalt Boats in Neodesha, Kansas, McDonalds, Dairy Queen and MFG in Independence, Kansas.
