Charles Cotten Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. - Magnolia on Jan. 1, 2026.
Charles Nathan Cotten, 72, of Magnolia, AR passed away peacefully on December 31, 2025, at Wentworth Place Hedding House in Magnolia, AR.
Born on October 3, 1953, in El Dorado, AR, to the late Jense Nathan and Elizabeth Lee (Stahl) Cotten. Charles lived a life marked by dedication, joy, and an enduring passion for the open road.
He was graduate of Magnolia High School's Class of 1973. After graduation, he embarked on a career as a welder working until he retired for Spencer-Harris of Ark, Inc., and Therral Story Well Service.
Charles's interests and enjoyment were riding his motorcycles, sharing countless adventures with his childhood best friend, Charles "Larry" Jones, of Orange City, FL. Together, they traversed scenic routes and highways. Those who knew Charles will remember when he spoke of his two-wheeled journeys – each ride not just a pastime but a cherished experience.
Charles is survived by his two loving children, Jennifer Bailey and husband Randy of Magnolia and Chris Cotten and wife Hannah of Fayetteville; cherished grandchildren, Brooke and Bryce Bailey of Magnolia and Jacob and Finnley Cotten of Fayetteville; brother, David Cotten and wife Nelda of Fort Smith; nephew and niece, Brandon Cotten and wife Jessica of Greenwood and Kaci Hurst and husband Justin of Little Rock; and he left behind his beloved cat "Dude" that he loved so much.
A visitation with the family will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2026, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. in Magnolia. Interment of ashes will be in the Forest Grove Cemetery in Taylor, AR (Walker Creek community).
