Wesley Thomas Anderson, 87, of Waldo, AR passed away on Friday, February 27, 2026, at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Wesley was born on November 15, 1938, in Bodcaw, AR to the late Matthew Carver and Dovie Irene (Loe) Anderson. He began his career working as a cutter for Shanhouse and retired after 18 years as a special products specialist for Alumax.

Wesley was a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed gardening, hunting, and fishing.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Jo Ann (Williams) Anderson; granddaughter, Tiffany Dawn Anderson; and a host of brothers and sisters.

Wesley is survived by his children, Tommy Anderson (Linda) of Mayfield, KY, Alan Anderson (Patty) of McNeil, Anita Reyes (Alex) of Waldo, and Teresa King (John Montpetit) of Bolingbrook, IL; grandchildren, Thomas Anderson (Samantha) of Mayfield, Philip Anderson (Jessi Randall) of Mayfield, Megan Grant (Kyle) of Mayfield, Roseanna Anderson of Magnolia, Nathan Anderson (Tara) of Hope, Galea Marie Clawson (Jim) of McNeil, Roxanne King (Adam Bradtmueller) of Glenwood, and Andrew King of Ft. Wayne, IN; eighteen great grandchildren; brother, Ernest Anderson of Texarkana, TX; sister, Faye Jackson of Texarkana, TX; brother-in-law, Ray Williams (Teresa) of Genoa; sister-in-law, Virginia Williams of Bodcaw; and a host of extended family and friends.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. in Magnolia. Funeral services will be Thursday, March 5 at 2:00 p.m. at Lewis Funeral Home Chapel with Tommy Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in the Waldrep Cemetery. Pallbearers will be his grandchildren.

The family would like to thank the staff at Enhabit Hospice for their compassion and care given to Wesley and his family during his last days.

Memorial donations may be made to the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church or Pleasant Hill Cemetery Association, Nevada County, AR.
