Charles Cowan Obituary
Mr. Charles Gilbert Cowan, age 87 of Lafayette, TN passed away Wednesday evening, February 28, 2024 at his residence. Mr. Charles is in the care of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette.
Funeral Services for Mr. Charles Gilbert Cowan will be conducted Saturday afternoon, March 2, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette with Pastor John Racioppa officiating. Interment will follow in the Haysville Cemetery.
Visitation will begin Friday morning from 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again on Saturday morning from 9:00 a.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m.
Family request memorials be made to assist the family with funeral expenses. You may make these memorials by calling or coming by the funeral home.
He is preceded in death by: three sons, Charles "Chuck" Cowan, Sr., Charles Gilbert Cowan, Jr. & Joe Sanders; parents, Charles & Nira Williams Cowan; daughter-in-law, Janet Cowan.
Survivors include: wife, Linda Cowan; daughters and son-in-law, Teresa & Eric Fleming, Tammie Swindle; sons, Joel Cowan, Toby Cowan; daughter-in-law, Molly Cowan all of Lafayette; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jim & Jane Cowan of TN, Donald & Pat Cowan of Gallatin, TN; 14 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren & 3 great-great-grandchildren.
