Sandra Demmink, age 72 of Lafayette, Tennessee passed away peacefully on November 27th, 2025 at her home, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born on June 2, 1953 in Cheboygan, Michigan.
She was a woman whose heart beat strongest for her children, but even more for her grandchildren, who were the joy of her life. "What happened at gramma's, stayed at gramma's". She was known for her bright blue eyes, the love of outdoors, yard sales, cooking the best meals, and enjoying time at the casino.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Regina Gembarski Pethers; her husband, Patrick A. Demmink; her sons, Richard Pethers and Adam Demmink; her brothers, Tom Pethers, Donnie Pethers, Rob Pethers, and Dan Pethers; and her sisters, Judy Dietz and Peggy Peyton.
She is survived by her siblings, Jim Pethers, Billy Pethers, Debbie Flanagan, Jeanne Litson, and Jackie Dominy. Her legacy continues through her children: Amy Pethers and husband, Tony of Lafayette, TN; Patrick Demmink and fiancée, Tori of Red Boiling Springs, TN; Elizabeth Mayes and husband, Jordan of Lafayette, TN; Megan Harwood and husband, Eric of Lafayette, TN; and Cody Demmink and wife, Lisa of Munfordville, KY. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy: Nikki Rodriguez and husband, Collin, with their children Elle, Ollie, and Cyrus; Dayton and Parker Harwood; Sophie Barnes and Rylea Demmink; Levi Mayes; and Kingstyn and Zander Demmink.
Her family will remember her as a woman of boundless energy, a nurturer of hearts, and a soul whose love was as bright and enduring as her favorite flower, daisies.
