Floyd Anderson, age 69 of Gallatin, passed away November 12, 2025. Floyd was born on August 15, 1956 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Marlin and Lula May Anderson.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Virginia “Ginny” Anderson; brother, Wayne Anderson; sister, Joyce Washburn; and infant sister, Candy Shrum.
Floyd is survived by his children, James “Bubba” Anderson (Lisa) and Christina Robertson (Monty); brothers, George Anderson (Linda) and David Shrum; sister, Katie Ramsey; grandchildren, Mary Reece (Tracy), Ada Anderson (Taryn), Michael McCarter, Zoe Robertson, Zachary Anderson (Amanda), Matthew Anderson, and Xena Robertson; great-grandchildren, James Reece, Ricky Reece, Gracie Reece, and Shayla Anderson; and many others that he loved as his own.
He was a longtime avid CB radio enthusiast and loved being a Papa to all of his babies. Floyd worked for many years at Crescent Furniture in Gallatin.
A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, November 17, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. in Siloam Cemetery in Westmoreland with Richard Ramsey, Jr. officiating.
