Sadie L. Brady, 89, of Gallatin, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 15, 2025. Born August 30, 1936, in Rociada, New Mexico, she was the daughter of the late Juan P. Gallegos and Mary Medina Gallegos.
For an impressive 23 years, Sadie worked as a server at the Cherokee Steak House and spent an additional 15 years at Opryland. Her commitment to service and her ability to create lasting connections with patrons showcased her genuine love for people. She was known for her welcoming smile.
Sadie's passions extended beyond her career; she cherished traveling, with a particular fondness for taking cruises, where she created unforgettable memories with friends and family. Above all, she loved her family dearly.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Junior Brady and grandson Chase Brady.
She is survived by her son Charlie Brady (Cindy), daughter Mary Deckard (Harold), son Larry Brady (Jeannie), and daughter Rosie Terry (Darrell). Additionally, her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Jamie Phillips (Steve), Angie McCracken (Drew), Nikki Gillespie, Jake Stiles, Britt Brady (Cathryn), Cole Brady, Chad Fuqua, and Abby Brosche (Nick); and 6 great grandchildren.
A longtime member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Gallatin, Sadie's faith was a cornerstone of her life. She loved the Lord, and her commitment to her faith was evident in her interactions and the way she lived.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 18, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Alexander Funeral Home & Cremation Center, located at 584 Nashville Pike, Gallatin, TN 37066. The funeral service officiated by Father Richard Childress will take place Wednesday, November 19, starting at 10:00 AM, at the funeral home. The family will welcome friends and visitors one hour prior to the funeral. Sadie will be entombed at Sumner Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
