Mr. Charles Edward Cundiff was born May 3,1983, to Mr. James D. Cundiff, Sr., and Mrs. Beverly A. Cundiff in Youngstown, Ohio. Charles peacefully passed Wednesday, August 3, 2022. Charles grew up in Youngstown, Ohio, where he played little league football for the Northside Knights. He attended Woodrow Wilson High School, where he played baseball and graduated as a licensed Machinist. Charles moved to Columbus, Ohio, in 2003. Charles always had a smile on his face and was liked by everyone he met. Charlie had a kind heart and was always willing to help anyone.
Charles was preceded in death by his mother, Mrs. Beverly Cundiff; brother, Mr. Brandon Cundiff; as well as his maternal, paternal, and adopted grandparents. Charles was survived by: his father, Mr. James D. Cundiff, Sr.; brothers, Mr. James D. Cundiff, Jr. (Jakiesta), and Mr. Daniel M. Cundiff; sisters, Mrs. Tiffany A. Kitt (Frank) and Miss Dakota Ferguson; great-aunt, Mrs. Betty McClendon; aunts, Ms. Sandra Wright, Mrs. Tracey Bradford (Clavon), Ms. Crystal Jackson, Miss Lydia Lightner, Ms. Britt Zaragoza, Miss Theresa Lightner, Miss Ann Lightner, and Ms. Sumiko Higgins; uncle, Mr. Charles Lightner; nieces, Shalynn Cundiff, Adelei Cundiff, Makayla Kitt, Joelle Kitt, Jaliyah Cundiff, Carmen Cundiff, Odyn Ferguson, and Zoey Cundiff; three nephews, Keandre Cundiff, Jaxon Kitt, and Dakota Williams, Jr; a host of extended family including, Mr. Timothy Jones, Jr. (Amy), Mr. Cedric Goode, and Mr. Steven Braxton; as well as numerous other cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends that he loved dearly. Charles was affectionately known as Chawlee Blue, Chuck, Chuckadocious, Uncle Chunk, Uncle Charlie, and Big Hoss. Charlie had an infectious smile and his light will shine forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
