Chip was my "school dad." He fixed a broken mini fridge for my dorm free of charge just because he wanted to, remembering what it was like to be in college. He taught me what it meant to be a collaborator in the production process; and what it meant to listen to and consider another person entirely. Always an encouraging nod in presentations. Always had a genuine smile whenever I got to see him. He led with kindness and authenticity. I strive to follow in such impactful big-booted footsteps. Love you, Chip <3

Chip was such a wonderful person. He radiated kindness and had a smile that instantly warmed the room. I have so many happy memories of Chip when we were in college together. His joyful presence always buoyed my spirits. I just can't say enough good about him. Thank you for your friendship, Chip. May he rest in peace. Sending all my love to his family.

Chip Davis is one of the brightest lights in all of my memories of high school. He had a laugh unlike anyone I had ever met, or have ever met since, and once he started, his laughter would fill the whole room. I mourn his loss, but will always cherish his memory. We´ll miss you Chip!

Mr. Davis was my high school Technical Theatre teacher at Northwest School of the Arts. I joined the class for an easy A and quickly found a passion for tech! We worked on The Color Purple and Footloose production. I admit I wasn´t his best student but he saw how driven and interested I was. He was such a fun and quirky teacher to have.

Chip and my son were fast friends in elementary school. He was like a third son, often eating at our table. He was a joy! I followed his schooling and career online, glad for his accomplishments. So sad to say adieu!!
