Charles Dawson Obituary
Charles Dawson, 81, passed away July 30, 2024 at his residence surrounded by his loving children. He was born, raised and worked in Akron all his life. He was always a hard worker beginning on his family's farm and later as a mechanic, roofer and painter. He loved boating, fishing and playing Euchre during his retirement years.
He will be missed by all who loved him and was a hero to his children: Michael (Joyce) Dawson, Michelle (John) Mirka, Monica (Drew) Bertsch, Marisa Dawson; grandchildren: Andrew Dawson, Nicole Gess, Crystal Moreland, Logan Mirka, Derek Hickman, Alivia Lutz, Jace Lutz; sisters: Arlene Cramer and Bonnie Wilson.
Family and friends are invited to visit Monday, August 5, 2024 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Newcomer, Akron Chapel, 131 N. Canton Rd. The memorial service will follow at 6 p.m at the funeral home.
