Ted McQuain Obituary

Ted L. McQuain, 78, passed away on March 8, 2026. Born on July 20, 1947.

He is preceded in death by his parents Twila and Howard McQuain, his sister Karen Evans, and niece Alisha Jarvis.

Ted shared 54 loving years of marriage with his wife Jean McQuain. She survives, along with son Ted McQuain (Tiffany) and daughter Megan McQuain. He was a proud and loving grandfather to his granddaughter Brianna, grandsons Brock and Bryce McQuain; their mother Nicole, and extended grandson Abel. Ted is also survived by sister Gwynn Klein, mother-in-law Genevieve Bartoletta, sisters-in-law Patsy Hahn and Jenny Bartoletta; brother-in-law Victor Bartoletta (Chris). Nephews and nieces include: Tim Morgan (Billie), Roman Bartolleta, Justin Hahn (Brandy), Kelly Rorrer (David), Jennifer Bartoletta, Tammy Skaggs and Michelle Pari.

Ted was a member of the Army Navy Club 273, where he was a proud member for 57 years. He loved spending his free time at the club, surrounded by friends who became extended family, notably Gene and Theresa Bell.

Along with spending time at the Army Navy Club, Ted also enjoyed spending his free time at Mason's Autoparts, where he enjoyed sharing his passion for cars with Dave, Brad and Richard Mason, as well the rest of the Mason's work crew.

Ted was also blessed to have such caring neighbors who include: Tommy and Jen Casale, and the late Irve and Evelyn Nettle.

Ted's passions included working on classic cars, relaxing in the pool, vacations to Florida, gambling, and attending his grandchildren's sports and activities.

Ted retired from Gempco after 43 years of service.

Ted served many years as an Assistant Director under Richard “Dick” Kapper, Director of Green Youth Football. His dedication earned him a place in GYF Hall of Fame.

Ted will be deeply missed by all, including his two loyal pet companions Toby and Coco.

Ted will be forever missed, but never forgotten.
