On August 17, 2025, Charles Adrian Driggers of Lake City, FL passed away at the age of 85 in the care of Haven Hospice.

Born in Citronelle, FL on May 6, 1940 to Claude Alton Driggers and Teecie Velma Hunter, Charles was one of eight children. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was the General Manager of Gray Truck Lines in Winter Garden, FL for a number of years and Shop Foreman for a couple of large transport companies after that. He then went into business for himself for 20-25 years, mostly doing mechanic work and log hauling.

Anyone who knew him knew his loud laugh, his jokes and his occasional marriage proposal. His joys in life were his family, his guns, his Gaither gospel videos, and his bible.

At the end of his earthly journey, he was surrounded by the love of his family and friends and he left this world in the peaceful quiet of the early morning, fitting as he was always the one to arrive the earliest. He is survived by 4 children: Charles Driggers (Susan) of Bristol, FL; Connie Day (Tim) of Greenville, FL; Adrienne Driggers Riveros (Carlos) of Clearwater, FL; Lauren Driggers of Branford, FL. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren with one more on the way, 4 sisters and a host of extended family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, two brothers-in-law, and his son, Paul Driggers of Branford, FL.

A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held at The Orchard at SouthRidge Church (162 SW Ridge St, Lake City, FL 32024) on Friday evening, Sept 19 at 7:00 pm. It is open to the public. Flowers may be sent to the church the day before (Thursday, Sept 18) between the hours of 9:00 am and 4:00 pm.

Please take a moment to sign the online guestbook and keep the family in your prayers.
