Charles Edgemon Obituary
Charles Ray Edgemon, age 79 of Sweetwater, Tennessee, passed away on February 12, 2026. He loved working on mechanical projects and taking things apart to see how they worked. He was a God-fearing and loving man who had a deep appreciation for his semi-trucks, equipment, and his horse, Chance.
He was the son of Roy and Mary Lee Edgemon.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Deborah Edgemon, and his great-grandson, Charles Kody Michael.
Charles is survived by his daughters, Charlene Edgemon and Sandra Edgemon; grandchildren, Kody and Jacob Harper; brothers, R.W. Edgemon, Leroy Edgmon (Flora), and David Edgmon (Martha); special nephews, Eugene Edgemon and Jeff Edgmon; and stepdaughter, Stephanie Croft.
The family will receive friends on Monday, February 16, 2026 from 5-7PM, the funeral service will follow at 7PM with Mitchell Galyon officiating. There will be a graveside service on Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at 2PM at Clark Cemetery.
