He was born on September 1, 1958, in Anchorage, AK, and most recently resided in Casper, WY. He served in the Marine Corps from December 29, 1977, to January 28, 1982, proudly upholding the motto "Semper Fi." Eddie was a Civil Engineer by profession, having attended the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology. Eddie found joy in his work and excelled in his career. Eddie was known for his passion for building things and enjoyed his favorite TV show, M.A.S.H. In his free time, he loved to play foosball and spend time with his family. Nicknamed Eddie, he was a man who always loved to talk and engage with others. Eddie's proudest accomplishments were being a wonderful dad to his son, Chris Edwards, and daughter, Kalee Edwards, as well as a beloved grandpa to his granddaughter, Emery Edwards. He is survived by Cynthia Edwards, sister, Jim Edwards, brother and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother, Beverly Edwards, former wife, Karen Edwards, former mother-in-law Lorraine Klingler, and former father-in-law Boyd Klingler. Despite at times being affected by a debilitating illness, Eddie made a positive impact in his community. He founded the Marine Corps League in Gillette, helped with other charitable endeavors and volunteered at the Soup Kitchen and other places for many years. Eddie will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched. His memory will be cherished forever, and his legacy of love and dedication to family will live on through those he leaves behind.
