Charles Edwards Obituary
Charles was born to Sylvia and Charles E. Edwards in Spokane, WA, on August 21, 1938.
Charles joined the Navy when he was 17 years old, he received an honorable discharge.
In April of 1960, he married Sybil L. Burdett. They had six children together; before they divorced in April of 1983.
Charles worked for the City of Spokane for over 35 years, before he retired.
Charles loved bowling, hunting, fishing, rock hounding. His biggest passion was reading.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles E. Edwards, mother Sylvia Edwards, his daughter Jennifer R. Sandham.
He is survived by his daughter, Debra Prindle (Shannon), his four sons, Kevin, Patrick (Wendy), James (Ericka), and Timothy. Sisters, Betty A Miller (Fred), Judy Eymont (Pat), and brother, Gordon Edwards. He had 15 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A special thank you to his sister Betty Miller and his aunt Mary Milton, along with Hospice for their care of him in his last weeks of life.
A celebration of life will be scheduled at a future date.
In his memory, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Cancer Care NW.
