Although I did not know Charles personally, I had been an employee of Montgomery County Public Schools for many years. I know how much our dedicated billing service workers mean to our system. From what I´ve read, it sounds like he was above and beyond in his service.
I offer prayers and compassion to his family members who I know will miss him dearly. Although you must grieve, as you do, recall all the beautiful moments you had together where you talked and laughed, or maybe just sat in each other´s presence. Peace be with you forever more.
With love from a fellow, MCPS employee.

He always was a helping hand. I would do balloon arches at his school and he always was so friendly and working hard. My condolences

When my son was at Clemente, I often told Charles that I truly believed he would have a greater impact on many of those kids than any teacher ever could. It wasn´t something he tried to do; it was just who he was. The way he interacted with parents and kids, listened to them, and assisted others demonstrated how to treat people with respect and kindness. This time, I know exactly for whom the bell tolls. It tolls for all of us, because the world is a little less without him in it. RIP Sir.
