Mr. Charles "Charlie" Farrington

A much loved husband, dad and "Pepa", Charles "Charlie" Farrington, 80 of Palm Bay Florida, formerly of Long Island, New York, passed away peacefully at age 80 on April 3, 2019, with his family by his side. From 1956 to 1960, Charles served in the Army, and also worked in the defense contractor industry as a quality control manager at RFI Corporation for 30 years, until his retirement in 1999. Charles was the loving husband of the late Thea Farrington for 57 years. Charles was born on January 30, 1939 in Brooklyn, New York to the late Madeline (Hamilton) and Howard Frank. Charles was an avid fisherman who enjoyed NASCAR, a nice cold beer and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his wife Thea (Kittle) Farrington, son in law Gene Triola and sister Maureen Frank.
He is survived by his daughters Barbara Triola and Doris Purcell, son in law Kevin Purcell and grandchildren Maggie Purcell and Charles Purcell. Private family services were held. At the request of the family, please enjoy a refreshment and celebrate a life well lived!
