Charles "Charlie" Ray Fegett of Louisville, Kentucky passed away March 9, 2024. He was born on April 15, 1944, to Jimmie and Clarence Fegett. Charlie was the Master of his Masonic Lodge in 1980 and he was a Scoutmaster to Boy Scout Troop 337 for 4 years. He was also a Kentucky Colonel. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, driving his truck, and would spend countless hours tinkering. Fixing things was his passion, which is how he became known to many as "Charlie Fix It". He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Rodger Fegett and Ricky Fegett; sister, Vickie Tracy; and stepbrother, Donald Turner. Charlie is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Linda Fegett; son, Jason Fegett (Christian); grandchildren, Morgan and Colin Fegett; brother-in-law, Scott Boston (Gail); sisters-in-law Sharon Smith (Tim) and Debra Duncan (Mark); and a host of family and friends. Visitation will be Friday, March 15, 2024, from 2:00pm-5:00pm at Owen Funeral Home – Jeffersontown, 9318 Taylorsville Road. Memorial Services is at 5:00pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to WHAS Crusade for Children and Youthbuild Louisville.
