Charles "Chuckie" Howard Glenn Jr. was born on January 9, 1961, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to the union of Catherine and Charles H. Glenn Sr, who preceded him in death. Chuckie was an only child. He departed this earthly life on Wednesday, October 29, 2025.
Chuckie was educated in the Cincinnati Public School System. As a youngster, he was known around the West End as the "Pinball King" - and rightfully so since he had a full-sized pinball machine in his bedroom.
Chuckie was a bit of an entrepreneur. As a young man, he could often be found on Linn Street working in his father's secondhand store, "Twice as Nice." He loved music, especially jazz, just like both of his parents. Chuckie also had a wonderful sense of humour and always knew how to make people smile.
Chuckie believed in Jesus and was led to Christ by his Aunt Johnnie.
Chuckie has one son, Antoine Proffit; a half-sister, Joy Moore; first cousins, Glenn Cannon, Doris (Theo) Nelson, Vanessa Sibert, Morris (Veronica) Glenn, Jeff Glenn, Teresa Glenn, and Denise Glenn. He was preceded in death by Larry, Regina, and Sharlene Glenn. he also leaves behind a host of loving relatives and friends.
Memorial Service 1:00 p.m., Friday, November 14, 2025, at House of Hope Fellowship Church, 930 Findlay Street, Cincinnati 45214. Rev. Nick Burnett, Pastor/Officiating.
