Charles Gustafson Obituary
Charles 'Chuck' Gustafson, 70, of Annandale, Virginia passed away on Tuesday February 28. Chuck was born November 28, 1952 in Youngstown, Ohio, the son of E. Charles 'Gus' Gustafson and Beatrice 'Betsy' Belle Birnie. He was raised in Boardman, Ohio and graduated from Boardman High School in 1971.
Chuck was drafted into the US Army in 1972, after completing one year of college, and served as a Military Policeman at Ft. Myer, Virginia for two years. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Musicology from Baldwin-Wallace College in Ohio in 1977, and worked for two years toward a Master's degree in Musicology at the University of Maryland. He worked for many years for various defense contractors in northern Virginia.
Chuck is survived by a brother, Richard G. Gustafson of Seattle, Washington; a nephew, Alex Gustafson of Colorado; and a niece, Anne Gustafson of Seattle.
Interment was in Oakwood Cemetery, Falls Church, Virginia.
