Charles Hall Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Jefferson Funeral Chapel - Alexandria on Aug. 20, 2024.
Charles Lynwood Hall, 77, of Lewes, Delaware, passed away on August 15, 2024. Born in Fairfax, Virginia, on June 12, 1947, he was a cherished son to the late Hazel and Lawrence Hall.
Charles graduated from Robert E. Lee High School and dedicated over two decades of his career to J.S. Wagner/M.V. Hall Roofing before retiring from the County of Fairfax in 2010. Known for his craftsmanship and love for sharing his wisdom, Charles spent many hours in his impressively stocked tool shed, passing on his skills to children and grandchildren.
A devoted husband to Joyce Hall, and a loving father to Charles Hall and Judith Buel, Charles was also an adored grandfather to Daniel Hall, Dylan Hall, David Maddox, and Sabrina Cervantez and a great-grandfather to Raelynn Cervantez. He is survived by the aforementioned family and his sister, Joyce Stone. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings; Catherine Caton, Lawrence Hall, William Hall, Donald Hall, Morris Hall and Stuart P. Hall.
Charles was a man of many interests; he was an avid solitaire player, a history enthusiast, a collector of tools, and enjoyed watching Redskins football. His sense of humor and quick wit brought joy to many, and his passion for dogs was evident in the countless photos of him surrounded by his furry friends.
Charles's legacy of love, humor, and practical wisdom will be deeply missed and forever cherished by those who knew him.
