Charles Harris Obituary
He was born July 19, 1940 in Spencer, a son of the late Harold and Hattie Long Harris. He was retired as a painter from the Spencer State Hospital after 23 years.
Charlie is survived by his daughters, Sharon (David) Lesher and Barb Justice, all of Spencer; son, Billy (Georgia) Harris of Spencer; sister, Delores Stockner of Spencer; brother, Donald Harris of Richmond, Virginia; seven grandchildren; and several great and great-great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Allen Justice; and his siblings, William and Larry Harris, Shirley Sampson, Marie Isaac, and Dorothy Dickerson.
There will be no visitation or service.
Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home in Spencer is assisting the family.
