Charles Floyd Harrison, 87, of Greenfield, passed away December 29th, 2023. He was born March 30th, 1936 in Barren County, Kentucky to parents William Herbert and Patsy (Steenbergen) Harrison.

He worked for 41 years as a journeyman book binder until retiring.

On December 20th, 1952, he married the love of his life, Dona. They shared 65 wonderful years together. Dona passed away June 12th, 2018.

He was a proud member of the Hancock Masonic Lodge 101.

Charles was a strong, loving man with an onery sense of humor. He enjoyed being outdoors, fishing and hunting, or tending to his garden. He shared a love for horses with his children and grandchildren. He was a devoted, loyal father, papaw, uncle, and friend.

He is survived by his children Sheila (Jerry) Crouch, Lorie Stanley, Donna (Kevin) Burns, and Charles David Harrison; his ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Dona, daughter Cheryl Turner Lortz, and his siblings.

Visitation will be Monday January 8th, at Flanner Buchanan Washington Park East, from 12-3pm. His funeral will begin at 3pm. He will be laid to rest at Washington Park East Cemetery.
