Charles "Chuck" Hastings Van Gorder III passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2023. He was a devoted husband and father. At an early age, he was in management for his knack for understanding people. He made his good name through helping others, expecting nothing in return. But folks always made right by him out of respect for him and his kindness. He was never without a story to tell, no matter how outlandish. He was one to always captivate his audience. Later, moving out of management into sales, he still had the ability to capture people with his story telling and helpfulness. He wanted to see people succeed and if he could help them succeed, he did what he could. We will miss you, Dad, give Vinny a hug for us.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm March 4, 2023 at Baldwin Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc. Baldwin Memorial Funeral Home assisted the family with the arrangements.
