Charles "Pee Wee" L. Hendrix, age 84, of Liberty, passed away on Saturday, October 25, 2025. Charles was born on August 30, 1941, and is the son of the late Walter and Gertrude Hendrix. On August 14, 1963, Charles married Julia (McGuire) Hendrix. Julia passed away on November 26, 1970.

Charles served his country in the US Army and National Guard in the infantry for 5 years. He later went on to work for Witt Plastics in Greenville, OH where he eventually retired.
In earlier years, Charles attended Liberty Church of Christ.

Charles had a passion for horses showing and contesting for many years. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle. Anything with speed that gave him an adrenaline rush, he loved.

Charles will be greatly missed by his children; Lisa Hendrix, Walter M. Hendrix, Sr., and Teresa; a grandson, Walter M. Hendrix, Jr., as well as two other grandsons and a granddaughter; six great grandchildren; a nephew, Dan Fields; his caring friend that was like a daughter, Trisha Dearth-Adkins; as well as many friends at Southview Courts, especially Rose Collette and Jeff Nash.

In addition to his parents and wife, Charles was preceded in death by nine siblings.

A private service will be held at a later date. Charles will be laid to rest next to his wife in Westpoint Cemetery in Liberty, IN.
