Charles W. Henigin

Charles W. Henigin, 84, of Hopewell Twp. passed away peacefully on Monday, July 15th 2024 at Sunabella Memory Home in Savannah, GA, where he resided for the past 2 years.
He was born in Fairchance, PA to the late Leonard Henigin and the late Cora Rankin Henigin. He was married to the love of his life, the late Donna Fitzsimmons Henigin, for 46 years at the time of her death in 2006. He was raised in Point Marion, PA before moving to Bridgeton and then settling in Hopewell Twp.
He worked for many years at Jersey Tyler, ST Fire Protection, and most recently at Durand Glass prior to his retirement in 2004.
He was always busy, working in the his yard, in his garage, or lending a hand to someone in need. He was the true example of a jack of all trades and could fix anything. He really enjoyed being around family, especially all his grandchildren.
He is survived by; his children, Charles (Buddy) Henigin Jr (Lisa) of Uniontown, PA, Gloria Schaffer (Chuck) of Pooler, GA, Lloyd (Joey) Henigin of Bridgeton, and Rita Ratliff (Rob) of Bridgeton; his grandchildren, Jay Schaffer (Priscilla), Ryan Henigin, Amanda Melchiorre(Daniel), Charlie Henigin, Kevin Schaffer (Nikki), Robert Ratliff Jr, Kurt Henigin (Stephanie), Sean Henigin (Paige) and Steven Henigin; his great-grandchildren, Hailey, Rocco, Ava, Zane, Bristol, Carter, Chance, Trevor, Lochlan, Flynn, Hudson, Waylon, Ramsey and Luca; his sister, Rita Miller; his brother, George Henigin; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family. Besides his parents and his wife he was preceded in death his siblings; Leonard Henigin Jr, Walter Henigin, Howard Henigin, Fred Henigin, Dolores Jean Voithofer, Frances King, Elaine Henigin, and Mary Margaret Henigin.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 20th at 11 AM at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 9:30 AM to 11 AM prior to the services. Interment will take place at Laurel Lawn Cemetery in Upper Deerfield Twp., following the services.
